Amawana – Who would have thought that amid the fierce competition in the smartphone market and increasingly diverse pricing, OPPO managed to steal the spotlight with the launch of its latest foldable smartphone, the Find N5. What’s even more astonishing is that despite being priced at a premium Rp28 million, the OPPO Find N5 sold out rapidly in most offline OPPO Stores across Indonesia within just a few days.
This phenomenon is quite surprising, considering the Find N5 is far from the most affordable foldable smartphone on the market. On the contrary, it ranks among the most premium devices, equipped with impressive specifications and features superior to its predecessor. This reflects how Indonesian consumers are becoming more open to new technologies and are willing to invest significantly if a product offers meaningful value.
The Find N5 comes with a slimmer, lighter design and a wide inner display—perfect for users needing a flexible device for multitasking. Instead of focusing on gimmicky features, OPPO emphasizes delivering a truly distinctive and stylish user experience.
According to Arga Simanjuntak, Head of Public Relations at OPPO Indonesia, the swift sales serve as proof that the market is shifting from purely evaluating specifications to appreciating overall experience and value.
At present, OPPO acknowledges that stock availability for the Find N5 remains limited and is actively working to stabilize distribution in the near future.
For those who haven’t secured the device yet, OPPO encourages patience. It’s not just about advanced technology, but also about momentum—highlighting that foldable smartphones are truly starting to gain traction in the Indonesian market. It appears the premium foldable smartphone era has just begun.
